Our Mission
Humble Beginnings
Our group has always been known for it's incredible Anomalies, but did you know that we began without officialised Anomaly Actors? On release, and for a while afterwards, Acting was left to a group of Active Members hand-picked to act as the on-site SCPs! At the time, we toyed with a system in which some SCPs were AI until an Actor took over control, however this proved to cause issues with consistency, and has long since been scrapped.
Jupiter
Project Jupiter was the codename given to a huge Site overhaul which was released a few months after the SCPF officially launched. This overhaul added vast highways and a Facility split up into sites, just like the one we know and love today! Jupiter came with other upgrades as well, such as the addition of SCP-082, otherwise known as Fernand, and SCP-1048. This paved the way for SCP overhauls that still stand strong today, such as our current models for SCP-049 and SCP-106!
The Great and the Small
Almost one year after Project Jupiter was released, we received one of our biggest SCP updates, with the additions of SCP-682, SCP-999, SCP-173 and SCP-662! These extremely popular SCPs added huge new potential to the game, instantly establishing 4 eminent SCPs. They are still easily some of our most well known, even to those outside of the group. Members of the genre outside of the Roblox platform have even used our models to inspire their own creations! The Troll was also added in this update
Site Alpha
Another memorable update was the addition of Site Alpha and the Flesh Crawler, as well as the infamous Director Raven and his fleet of Attack Drones. Anomaly Actors was of course a huge part of this update, allowing Foundation Members to see Alpha and it's operations visibly in-game, with brand new tech and it's own sector of the Facility! Anomaly Actors saw it's first and last sub-division, Site Alpha Anomaly Actors (SAAA), which raised clear issues with how sub-divisions interact with the Department. After raising a lot of justified controversy within the Department, SAAA was promptly scrapped.
Trident
Project Trident marked the return of Pathos, after almost a year of being shut down. With this update came some SCPs that had been conceptualized and worked on for over 12 months! It also included much needed revamps of some of our older SCPs, such as a full rescript of SCP-082. We also saw a full overhaul of SCP-1048, with entirely new abilities, and some new instances to join the group! SCP-131 received an overhaul as well, with one of the oldest models in the group being pulled forward into our new standards. SCP-127 and SCP-527 later joined the gang, now being two of our most fan favored SCPs!
Present & Future
We have great plans for the future of the group, and can't wait to reveal them to everyone! One of our most prominent reveals was a teaser for the upcoming SCP-939! We'll put the teaser at the bottom of this page so that you can check it out. In the not too distant future, you can expect to see some new faces emerging on-site which have been long in the making, but they will without a doubt be worth the wait!
The Mission
This SCPF came from humble beginnings, and since it's inception, Anomaly Actors has been on a mission to set a great standard for the Genre. With our incredible development team, and hard work from all of our staff within Anomaly Actors, we have set a brand new standard. Not just one that uses player controlled SCPs to create a user experience of great depth, but a standard for the effort put into making them original and the best that they can be.
As a group, it is extremely important that we keep going bigger, better, and more in depth, so that the standards for the genre can rise even further. We are now far from the only group with Actor Anomalies, which is part of our plan as an SCPF. By continuing to evolve the standards and capabilities of Actor Anomalies, we are able to make a real difference by inspiring others to try it out for themselves.
We hope that what we have planned in the future inspires others even more, opening new doors and closing old ones as we learn along the way.
